CeMAP® Level 1 Course
What Will You Learn?
UNIT 1 - Introduction to The Financial Services Environment & Products
The first unit provides prospective students with an overview of the financial services industry and lays a solid foundation for them. The CeMAP exam will include a 60-minute test with 50 multiple-choice questions.
UNIT 2 - UK Financial Services & Regulation
The second unit covers the UK's financial services laws and regulatory mechanisms. Students will gain in-depth understanding of the relevant laws that licensed mortgage advisers must follow when providing mortgage loan advice to clients. Like Unit 1, students must answer 50 multiple-choice questions in the approximately 1-hour CeMAP exam for Unit 2.
How is the CeMAP® Level 1 exam conducted?
The CeMAP exam is organized by the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF), which also issues the certification. Our LIBF courses help you successfully pass the CeMAP exam through training and coursework. However, please note that only LIBF can administer your exam. Our training fees do not include the LIBF exam fees. Exam fees must be paid directly to LIBF. Each module costs £215 (there are 3 modules in total). The CeMAP® Level 1 exam will assess you with 100 multiple-choice questions from two units, to be completed in approximately 2 hours.
You can choose your own exam time and location. You will have 12 months from your registration with LIBF to complete the exams for each module. The first exam is included in the registration fee for each module.
